With the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, team members from each community have engaged in a vigorous campaign to educate about safety precautions as a means to prevent the spread of the virus. These include the distribution of face masks and hand sanitizer, the hanging of posters, and the sharing of vital information via trainings and social media platforms. Additionally, a GoFundMe Campaign was launched to feed children, disabled persons and older adults in the community of Mbare. at the I AM Mbare School for Orphans and Vulnerable Children, as well as a generous donation from Turbo Baby Wear, has resulted in the distribution of over 1000 food parcels containing maize meal, sugar, oil and cabbage to the families of the school children as well as the elderly and disabled members of the community.
