Today the I AM Mbare team distributed food parcels of maize meal, oil and cabbage to 150 more vulnerable families in the community. The wearing of face masks and social distancing measures were strictly enforced today to protect against COVID-19.
I AM Mbare has partnered with a wonderful organization called Tamba Africa Circus, which offers young children the chance to perform by showcasing their acrobatic and dance skills. We look forward to many of our school children taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity. Today one of the clowns from the organization assisted with the food distribution. Fun times! Tomorrow, the I AM Mbare team will hand deliver 50 additional food parcels to community members who were unable to come to the office. To date, thanks to your generosity, we have raised over $10,000 through this campaign and have been able to feed 1000 vulnerable men, women and children in the community of Mbare.
