From our beloved friend and supporter Suraiya Essof:
3 winning images of the Kites for Peace Zimbabwe school kite making Peace Day challenge, with the most support on Facebook, came from Cody and Nathan from St John’s Prep School in Harare, and Jayden from Simba International Primary School in Ndola, Zambia. 3 school hampers will be given to the I AM Mbare school in these adorable children’s names, thanks to Green Governance Zw. In addition, since they were ALL such beautiful creative kites, each of the 40 entrants to the challenge gets to gift a beautiful school pack to a child at the school in their name, thanks to TURBO Stationery & BAGS. Well done for your beautiful and clever artwork! Keep creating and Fly High! All our love from Kites for Peace 🪁
I AM Mbare also won two prizes for having some of their own ‘most liked images’ of the kite flying/fun activity challenge where participants were asked to submit pictures of themselves flying kites or engaging in activities that bring them joy.
Thanks to Suraiya Essof, Kites for Peace Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe Cares Network, TURBO Stationary & BAGS, and all individuals and organizations who were involved in making this annual event such a success and so memorable for the communities of I AM Zimbabwe Trust.
