Today the team at I AM Mbare continued their clean up efforts around the Matapi flats. While keeping the environment clean is one of the top priorities in the I AM Zimbabwe Trust communities, it was so sad to see the number of children who joined in to collect plastic containers, which they will then use to freeze and sell water. These children should be in school, or at least have something else to occupy their time during the shutdown. So much work still to be done to improve the lives of the most vulnerable members of the community.
